MANALI 

It was just in 1970s that Manali was "found" as an occasion destination and inside a couple of years, it built up its ubiquity. Apart from regular downhill runs. It has several trek routes and offers rock climbing and mountaineering – apart from fishing, camping and white – water rafting.The Buddhist monastries of Gadhan Thekchokling, and those at Aleo and Chadhiyari. Mineral water springs and hot sulfur showers at Vashist (3kms) and the sanctuaries committed to the savvy Vashist and to Lord Ram. The Arjun Gufa (4kms) where Arjun, of the Indian epic, the Mahabharata and beneficiary the terrified message of the Gita, is respected to have pondered; this is close to the town of Prini-and has an incredible perspective of the region. Jagatsukh (6kms) was at one time the seat of the leaders of Kullu and holds the age – old sanctuaries of Lord Shiva and of Sandhya Gayatri. The Solang Valley (14kms) is a standout amongst the most appealing ones in the zone and where a reasonable measure of Manali's experience and open air movement happens. The little pool of Nehru Kund (6kms), the beautiful town of Kothi(12kms), the Rahalla falls and the Rohtang pass (51kms, 3980m) all lie toward Keylong, the region base camp of Lahaul.
